Rose Bakery, Rue des Martyrs, Paris

This was a short walk from our apartment on Rue Rochechaourt, so we were able to have lunch here twice. We never had to queue, as Parisians were off on their August vacances. Having gone to the Dover Street Market Rose Bakery since it opened, but having never been to a Rose Bakery in Paris, this was a serious treat. This one, on Rue des Martyrs, is spacious and laidback and you see a lot of the food being prepared and/or being carried out of and into the kitchens.
